Why we refused to sell hardware
The problem with smart displays
Amazon Echo Show, Google Nest Hub, Facebook Portal — they're fine gadgets, but they lock you into an ecosystem, age out of updates, and cost hundreds of dollars per screen. When the device dies, your "command center" dies with it. We think your household dashboard should outlive any single piece of hardware.
The BiteTab approach
